8:30 am - Manitoba Time - Latest Update - Final Score; 7 - 2 for Canada, so they will advance to the Goal Medal Game on Saturday. Shots on goal in the 3rd were 14 - 8 to give a final game total shots on goal as 47 - 25 for Canada. There was 1 minor penalty in the 3rd, against Sweden.
8;27 am - Ashley Brykaliuk gets a hat trick as she notches her 3rd goal on a power play late in the game at 19:38 to make it 7 - 2 for Canada.
8:15 am - Sweden scores their 2nd just over a minute later, at 7:38, to make it 6 - 2.
8:10 am - Canada 2 at the start of the 3rd. to go up 6-1. Kristyn Capizzano scores only 1:48 in, and then Catherine Dubois follows with another goal at 6:06 into the 3rd.
7:50 am - Second period intermission; Canada out shot Sweden by a closer margin in the second ; 13 - 11 to give a total of 33 - 17 for Canada.Score remains 4 - 1 for Canada. There were a total of 3 penalities this period; 2 for Canada, and 1 for Sweden.
7:38 am - Canada answers back with a goal at 8:52 into the second, on a goal by Genevieve Bannon. Then at 12:38, Ashleigh Brykaliuk gets her second of the game, on a power play goal to put Canada up 4 - 1.
7:25 am - Sweden gets their first goal of the game early in the 2nd, at 1:07 mark- on a power play, due to a late 1st period Canadian penality overlap. Score is 2 - 1 for Canada.

7:05 am - Period One Summary: Canada is up 2 - 0 at the end of the first period. Canada got on the score board early when Kristin Gilmour scored (assisted by Halli Krzyzaniak) 3:10 into the game. 9:05 am Manitoba Time - Latest Update: Final Score - 7 - 0 For Canada over Germany. Canada outshot Germany 18 - 1 in the 3rd to give the final shots on goal as 67 - 5.

8:15 am - Period 2 summary - Manitoba's Westman player Ashleigh Brykaliuk makes it 4 - 0, 5:37 into the second. Manitoban native Halli Krzyzaniak gets her 2nd of the game and gives Canada a 5 - 0 lead going into the second period intermission. Canada outshot Germany 19 - 2 in the second, so total shots on goal at the end of 2 were 49 - 4.

Team Canada Defeats Hungary, 4 - 1. PV`s Cassidy Carels notches her first goal, including the game winning goal, in the first game of the U - 18 tournamen in Finland.Team Canada outshot Hungary 35 - 11.
Note: Scoring results changed: Cass's second goal was not credited to her - at first she was awarded it as they thought she had tipped it in. However, later results show that the goal was awarded to Eden Murray.
