The Pembina Valley Hawks Female Midget AAA program is now into its' sixth year of existence, and continues to bring competitive elite female hockey to south-central Manitoba, Canada. The PV Hawks have captured both league & provincial titles. PV ended their 2012 2013 league season with a record of 44-16-6.
PV is part of the Manitoba Female AAA Midget Hockey League, including 7 teams from all regions of Manitoba. The Hawks’ region itself is geographically vast.
The program’s mission is to provide an opportunity for female hockey players to compete at the highest level, while allowing female athletes to live at home to play hockey near family and friends. "Family" is a word that the coaches and players of the Pembina Valley Female Midget Hawks genuinely use to describe the importance of these young players supporting each other in what is a very long year of practices, games and road trips. The team plays and practices in various arenas of the players’ home towns. Their friendship assists the coaches 's plan for these young ladies to be consistent and improve each time they step on the ice as a representative of the Pembina Valley region.

The Pembina Valley Hawks Female Midget AAA program is its fifth year of existence, and brought competitive elite female hockey to south-central Manitoba, Canada. The PV Hawks are the current defending National Esso Cup Champions, winning the Westerns by defeating the Notre Dame Hounds, and capturing both league & provincial titles. PV ended their 2011-2012 season with a record of 54-10-8. PV is part of the Manitoba Female AAA Midget Hockey League, including 8 teams from all regions of Manitoba. The Hawks’ region itself is geographically vast. The program’s mission is to provide an opportunity for female hockey players to compete at the highest level, while allowing female athletes to live at home to play hockey near family and friends. The team plays and practices in various arenas of the players’ home towns. Attending signature tournaments facilitates player exposure and preparation for the next level. Together, these familiar home-like and new experiences translate into player growth – both in skill and personality - and help shape Hawks athletes to become leaders on and off the ice as well as contributing members of their immediate and extended community.

This team became the Maniotba AAA Midget League Champs defeating Eastman, and the Provincial Champs defeating the Winnipeg Titans! They ended their season with a 50-12-3 record. They lost in the Western Regional Finals to the Notre Dame Hounds in Morden ,Manitoba.

2009-2010 Pembina Valley Female Midget Hawks

In 2009-10, the program was expanded and the team defended and won the league title once again, capturing the provincial title and went on to represent the Province of Manitoba in the quest to reach the Nationals. They fell short losing to Notre Dame Hounds in Wilcox Saskatchewan, but finished a successful season with a record of 38W-16L-2T.This team was the first to win both the league and provincial titles!
